The Top 10 PEOPLE's World's Most Beautiful Woman 2012

Posted By shycathleen ~ Apr 26, 2012 12:13AM

Here is the  list of this year's (2012) top 10 world's most beautiful woman. Take a look:

"I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a sense of purpose on this earth."

Sofia Vergara

"If you're asking if my breasts are natural, yes, this is how I've looked since I was 13 years old."

Charlize Theron

"If they ever do my life story, whoever plays me needs lots of hair color and high heels."

Lily Collins

"It used to bother me – having bigger, fuller brows. Now I embrace them. I've realized the quirky things that make you different are what make you beautiful."

Madeleine Stowe

" I love the life of an actor because you spend brief amounts of time with other people and then you just leave. I need to be alone a lot, and I need the outdoors."

Christina Hendricks

"I thought, well, you might see curves there, but that's just a bone - so even if I lose weight that's not going to change anything. That's how I look. That's my shape. Do the math."

Michelle Williams

"The expectation to be beautiful always makes me feel ugly because I feel like I can’t live up to it."

Paula Patton

"I wear less makeup and am less fussy. I accept myself more because I have less time to be down about myself!"

Miranda Lambert

"I'm representing normal girls. It's OK to have a little bit of curve. I'm happy with my body. So many girls come up to me and say, 'Thank you for being normal,' and I'm proud of that."

Kate Middleton

"I'm still very much Kate."

On Fabulous and Classy

Posted By shycathleen ~ Apr 12, 2012 2:41AM

A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous. -Coco Chanel-

Kate Moss is one of the most fabulous models  in the world.  This year, Mango spring/summer campaign unveils her as their star. Take a look:

According to Mango, they had chosen the British model because she embodies "the type of urban, independent and confident woman".  I reckon that no matter what Kate Moss will don, even with a digitizing service embroidery or even a sack, she will always manage to look fab and chic.

On the oher hand  Christian Dior has its latest handbag campaign modeled by its newest darling, the glamorous and classy Mila Kunis.   Check this out:

Valentino Couture Spring 2012

"If you don't think about fashion, you just do clothes.Fashion needs culture or it becomes empty." (Pier Paolo Piccioli)

"There was a casual quality that made the clothes ultimately feel more modern than their long-sleeved, high-necked, and lace-gloved propriety would at first suggest." I doubt if any embroidery digitizer for a simple clothing or uniform discount can do the kind of stitching done on these clothes. "The stitching was so fine it was invisible. It signaled the heart-stopping delicacy that distinguished the collection. But there was a real resilience, too. Hence the use of cotton amidst the lace, organza, and filigree, as in a coat with tone-on-tone embroidery that felt embossed."

The Fire Dress of The Girl on Fire

Posted By shycathleen ~ Mar 21, 2012 2:01AM

Ever read the book "The Mocking Jay"? How about the " Catching Fire"? Or maybe read or seen the movie " The Hunger Games"? Ah, maybe you have watch already the movie of The Hunger Games and had known Katniss Everdeen, the protagonist of the movie as well as the three novels. Katniss Everdeen was also well known by some as "the girl on fire". You may wonder why. But the photo below will answer any curious mind out there:

Jennifer Lawrence aka Katniss Everdeen donned this red lace mini from Marchesa with a narrow but revealing neckline and Giuseppe Zanotti pumps with passion and on fire. Indeed the alias "the girl on fire" is proven true just by looking at this outfit. Fiery, yet chic; provocative yet glamorous. Though the dress looks like it was made up of embroidery digitising, it is still very stylish and dramatic - only absolutely serving the purpose of showing that the one who wore this is indeed a girl on fire. :)

The Top 10 Richest Models

Posted By shycathleen ~ Feb 6, 2012 7:11PM

Modeling is a career and you can definitely be rich while enjoying the fame of the ramp and limelight. Just like these famous and richest models of the world:

Ten: Adriana Lima (£22m, Brazilian)

"If one day I have a daughter and my daughter wants to be a model, I would never let her!"

Nine: Milla Jovovich (£23m, Ukrainian)

"Modelling killed me."

Eight: Naomi Campbell (£31m, British)

"I make a lot of money, but I don't want to talk about that."

Seven: Claudia Schiffer (£35m, German)

"I know one day I'll be considered too old."

Six: Elle Macpherson (£38m, Australian)

"I used to wear heels because I wanted to show people I wasn't ashamed of being tall. But I don't wear them any more because you don't have to wear heels to be beautiful. I can't even remember the last time I wore heels."

Five: Heidi Klum (£45m, German)

"But all the money in the world cannot make you happy either, so there has to be a balance."

Four:  Kate Moss (£50m, British)

"Everyone's projecting onto you, or you feel like everyone is judging you. I feel like I'm being judged a lot of the time. You become really self-conscious."

Three: Christie Brinkley (£51m, American)

"I wish my butt did not go sideways, but I guess I have to face that."

One: Gisele Bündchen (£96m, Brazilian)

"I'm a workaholic. I've been doing my job for a long time."

These models are by far the top earning ones in the fashion industry. I guess, they are really worthy of what they earned. Just by looking at their sculptured faces and bodies to die for, it's not a surprise that they earned that much. And even if one will let them dress in a simple custom digitizing shirt, they will always stand out in a crowd. Wow!

Golden Globe 2012 Fashion Favorites

Posted By shycathleen ~ Jan 16, 2012 12:19AM

Here is my personal favorite styles and fashion from the latest Golden Globe Awards 2012.  Check this out:

Jessica Chastain

White is definitely not the color of the Golden Globe red carpet, yet I find Jessica's  white dress simply elegant. Her accessories (especially the bracelet) are perfect for her outfits too.

Maria Menounos

Her yellow dress suits her body too well. Mustard is definitely not a 2012 color, yet looking at her makes me think of how great yellow could be.

Kate Bickensale

She's not only beautiful, but amazingly stunning. Love her accessories, though I hate her hairstyle, eh.

Jessica Biel

Her dress reminds me of a wedding wardrobe full of embroidery digitizing design. Well, no wonder, since she is getting married with Justin Timberlake months from now.

Freida Pinto

Simple yet elegant! Freida Pinto has always been fashionable during red carpet..

Sofia Vergara

Her dress lining looks like hairs.  Oh, millions worth of dress, should always be considered as glamorous like Sofia's dress.

Tilda Swinton

Stylish and elegant as always. Tilda Swinton's wardrobe reminds me of the two fashion trends this coming spring- the pale fire and cristobal method.

Nicole Richie

Pretty and elegant. Nicole's glittery dress is a sure knock out.

Ariel Winter

Pretty.  Love the purple and the dress. Actually perfect for her. :)

Elle MacPherson

Perfect! From the head to the ruffled dress. The accessories, the clutch, and the blonde hair just added to her very flattering look.

Evan Rachel Wood

Absolutely love her dress. Quite frightening when I happened to look at the feathery end of her dress, yet the whole wardrobe is a beauty to behold.

Nicole Kidman

Her dress suits well with her very fair skin and nearly blonde and red hair. Love the embroidery digitizing design of her dress. Very stunning as always.

Helen Mirren

She's becoming more and more beautiful as time passes by. Helen Mirren's beauty as well as sense of style is absolutely great!

Jessica Alba

A hot mama and a very stylish woman. Jessica Alba's past pregnancy is never been given a chance to be seen here in her fabulous dress.

Lea Michele

Rachel of Glee is always stylish in red carpet. Love the glittery design of her dress. Beautiful!

Come on. Who of you will not love her sparkly dress?

Stacy Keibler

George Clooney's new gal pal doesn't look like an ex wrestler, eh. Rather she looks like a beauty queen in a red dress.

Emma Stone

Stylish and gorgeous as always. Absolutely love her belt. :)

Angelina Jolie

I'm not used on this dress and style that she has donned. Leather, red and black, they are really good on her. But this one, hmmm, can't explain it in words, eh.haha. But she is sure a stylish one. Keeping up with the new fashion trends, pale fire and Cristobal method. Anyway, Angelina is always a gorgeous woman for me. :)

Charlize Therone

The most stylish in the Golden Globe Awards red carpet (on my own opinion). From the head dress to the stilletos, she's definitely stunning and elegant.

The Pale Fire: Spring Style Trend 2012

Posted By shycathleen ~ Jan 10, 2012 11:11PM

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was seen lately wearing this on-trend black lace gown with a nude-lined underlay and velvet belt designed by Alice Temperley. Take a look:

Her stunning dress reminds me of one of the outfits of Beyonce during her pregnancy. It was a yellow knit dress (looks like with embroidery digitising design) designed by Julien Macdonald. Check this out:

This yellow dress, is a bit similar (brighter though) to the new fashion trend this spring 2012. The Pale Fire. Gathered some of the photos from Style.com. So,here are some of them:

The Pale Fire Fashion Trend

Vera Wang

Tommy Hilfiger

Rebecca Minkoff

Louis Vuitton

Christopher Kane

Calvin Klein Collection

3.1 Phillip Lim

According from Style.com the pretty pastels from Francisco Costa at Calvin Klein Collection and the new duo at Valentino were a welcome palette cleanser. Giambattista Valli and Louis Vuitton’s Marc Jacobs embraced the light, too, serving up color-blocked looks in sweet ice cream shades.  That's why they call this new spring trend the PALE FIRE.
